What's your feelings on Psychics?

Do you believe in psychics? During the 1980's-90's Dionne Warwick and estranged boyfriend, Phillip Michael Thomas, were spokes people for the Psychic Network. After millions of dollars and many of people either satisfied or dissatisfied with the service, there was rumors that it was all fraud. Later, remember Ms. Cleo? She was either a paid actor, or con-artist that was posing as a psychic and only taking people's money. Can these psychics we speak to online or by phone, be trusted or are they believable or not?

Well, speaking from experience, I have talked to quite a few psychics or intuitive minds over the past 2 years. What I have come to know, is that there are some that are true and genuine. Many were right about alot of my situations. Many would forsee what was happening with me and what was going on with people in my life. One, was so accurate it was quite mind blowing. Without me hardly giving her any information regarding a person, the guy that I mentioned before in my life, she was able to tell me the EXACT DAY THAT HE WAS TO CONTACT ME. She said, this 2 years ago, she said, I'm sorry to inform you, but this man from your pass is coming back. He will be back on this day, end of this month, at first, I panicked then I thought no I won't hear from him. It has been 2 years, he should be some where happy, I'm no longer in his thoughts (I quietly thought, thank goodness, but secretly felt, I wish things could of worked for us). Obviously, he did, as it is now 2 years later and he and I still in communication and with a bit more between us....

She did say that it would be a disaster and that he wasn't after anything special, that he was just here to disturb my life. At first, I believed that what she was saying could be true about him wanting to bother me. I felt that, in the past, he only wanted to hurt me and I felt as if he was after revenge. It appears not to be the case. She was offering to do a "prayer" during our session, which was what she referred to it as. I didn't really understand what all she meant, but kind of gave the okay, I just thought she would say something like "God prevent any harm, etc...", but it appears she was offering some spell casting to rid him of harming me. I was new to trying psychics and not aware of these performers of spells and "magic."

I am quite a skeptic when it comes to doing something other than a prayer to the higher being, to try and remove a person from your life. Our higher being, he knows what he wants and who he wants in our lives and the purpose they will bring. Once this psychic, tried to do the things she wanted to "protect" me, she said that he would still come around me. Later, I thought that she was wrong, because she said end of month, maybe last day of month I would hear from him, but I received a call from a guy that was a friend, born under the same astrological sign (I didn't mention she did say what sign he was under, when he would contact me and why) however, I then canceled it out and felt well, that was who you saw, was my other pal. Unfortunately, as mentioned prior, she was right and that person I've known all these years has contacted me and is still around.

Well, after trying to reach her, she was avoiding me. It appears that things she tried to do, or said she would do, wasn't done. It was nothing but jibberish and nothing has happened that is not out of the norm with person. It didn't do anything of what she said. Many others have asked, have you done readings with another psychic, I have said yes. They informed me that someone didn't complete "the work" and that things won't be right until it is completed.

However, whatever they mean by all this, these people are trying to con and or scam I feel. Many of them are requesting large sums of money, to complete "the work." They are requesting 100's of dollars! One woman proclaimed she would need $1900, she has been removed from the keen website where she was located. Wow, it is amazing. There definitely is some sort of con going on here. They are trying their best to take people's hard earned money. I decided to not allow this to happen, as I have seen and read comments of others seeking advice that have allowed that to happen and didn't receive any results, just the same thing going on in their life, normal, nothing better or worse.

Therefore, I would like to bring up some major points on how to distinguish the statements that are used/said by these con artist that I have came across. I'm glad that I'm able to share these experiences with you and hope that none of you have been conned like many people have. I am thankful that I can share the things I have heard and I hope that no one would send money, as I have seen many clients of the con artist have done. Personally, I never sent money to anyone. I have done readings/sessions with experts, but have declined all trying to do prayers and or spell casting for something that I don't believe in. Here is my list of things to look for:

Psychic scams—Con

1. Negative energy that needs to be removed with large lump sum payment you must send (normally they want it western union, not through the site where they wouldn't receive all the money). They might ask your location, that is to see how fast it would reach them.

2. They are working through a church that is trying to help and only need the money for the materials, they will put up part of $ now, until u can send all of it and they don’t have much money cause they live there at church. (Normally candles and they will send things back).

3. They become bullies/pushy/or angry if you don’t pay. (Remind you of Bill Collectors LOL).

4. They start extremely high in price, if you don’t agree, they ask how much can you pay then?

5. They say nothing will be right until you fix this matter.

6. You have bad karma, chakra, aura around that needs to be fixed immediately.

7. They are the only ones that can help you.

8. I know money for you just comes and goes and doesn’t mean anything to you so you can pay this.

9. They can’t talk to you through the website, may it be online or by phone, so could you call them direct so that they can tell you what is going on in your life better since they have so much information (if by online chat, they will say, broke their finger or having pc issues and can’t type too good, so could you contact them or they call you, asking for personal number--give you free reading if you call) if by phone, they will request you call them back in a few minutes so they can meditate and tell you everything...or have another client waiting.

10. They offer free reading/consultation—or lots of free minutes they offer for you to use (online, or by phone they will provide them after your session--which they never do). (goes a bit with #9)

11. If they don’t won’t allow you to leave feedback due to the free consultation, it is so you won’t write about the scam they tried to do on you and maybe they can keep conning others.

12. Someone is doing some black magic or has your partner under a spell and you need to rid them of it to "get them (fully) back" in your life.

I hope these things are helpful to those seeking advise from psychics. Many might possess the gift, but take advantage of it to con people out of money. Many don't have the gift, but are able to provide general information that appears they know what they are talking about. Also, do not give too much information that they are able to feed off where they appear they know what they are talking about. If they start to ask you to tell or explain a lot. To see if they are true, just let them know you seeking expert help in love or whatever the matter is. If things seem general or could apply to anyone, move on to trying another expert, if you would like.

The best and maybe safest sites, that is hard to distinguish. Most of your findings will have to be based on the content of the individual. I have found many that are on different sites and say one thing one minute, then another the next. However, sites to try that I think could be safe are:

asknow, psychiccenter and psychicaccess. These sites are more pricey than others, but I have found more genuine people here. Although, on keen, there are some people that I also found that work on psychicaccess too, that were good. It is just related to pricing differences though. Access, will charge a bit more, you have to deposit a minimum of $25, and most of psychics range from like $3-8 per minute. Also, it appears that there is tax from them, or they charge you per second (unsure, because have talked to some and more was taken out, ex. $3x8min would be $24 but more was taken out instead). Asknow lacks in the ability to add funding to use for minutes as you go, you can/have to join a club and gain 4o minutes a month, not bad, since it drops the expert's rate to only a $1 per minute, whereas many charge $3.29-$6.29 per minute on that site (other issue with asknow, I did have an expert I was going to once a month, after awhile, person was saying had I talked to you before, not a good sign, it was same man too).

Other sites that I have tried, keen and liveperson (which was kasamba) they are okay. Keen, has been around awhile and not too bad, but again have found con's on both of these sites. Liveperson, is an online chat, I have found many that were cons here, but some are real. If the pic looks real instead like an advertisement, you might want to try. However, there a quite a few there that just want to take your money and many of them appear to be just there for nothing more than to be apart of some con artist like a scam system, meaning a team that works together and or there are people that work more than one page. An honest expert from that site, had informed me that other people are allowed to use their log in's so if you found one you trust, it may not also be that person on there all the time.

*New Add by me 8/25/09* Another Site I had initially forgot to mention, was Destle.  Destle, it appears could be related to liveperson, but the attitude and people working with Destle is better.  If, you look, you will see similiarities in their sites, as well as, they have some psychics there that are the same from livperson.  However, they have it there that a green proceed button mean that they have confirmed the psychic/tarot expert is who they say they are, versus the red proceed button, is that they have not confirmed that the pic used is that "psychic advisor."

Again, it is all use at y/our own risk, so be cautious of what you do, what information you give out and come with an open mind and be relaxed to receive accuracy from the one's that are genuine.

destle is a scam site that has copied liveperson and stole pictures and profiles of experts from liveperson and other sites. the experts listed there are NOT those people

they also do not pay the experts who do sign but take the money from the clients

they are being investigated for fraud and other reasons, so yes be wary

Wow, thanks for the information, as I was starting to become weary of them too. I need to update more on them as well, some things that I have noticed while using the site, many are trying for personal information and the ones they claim that are real (they have a green button) appear not to be, there is only one person that seems honest on there, I feel.

Such a Disgrace 2 months ago

I got Total ripped off from Destle. At first it seem that they were telling the truth. But some expert told me that I needed fireball to help my ex who was dating a witch. And when I paid him $500. Nothing was done and all them people swirled around me and started begging for money. They all told me that the guy they referred me on destle work did not help me, and I needed to pay another expert or I was going to lose my lover to another women! then when I started asking about the women they started telling me that I had a black magic curse on my life and I needed to remove the negative energy and told me i will see my ex lover, if I pay them $250 to get rid of the black magic as they told me it is hard to get rid of. I believe in clairvoyance but psychics feed you negative energy and make you fear and then charge you money for things that doesnt exisit in your life. Whatever is meant for you...God will bring to you. I love Joel Osteen who is a born again christian and pastor. He said, Never let anyone label you! If you accept labels you draw that negative energy in your life. I had another man who I went to see, in cerritos tell me that he was a demon buster...and said his work was fast in two weeks........that will bring in positive energy he asked me for $4200. but before he asked, he asked about my business? What I did for a living....that is what they do, so they will know how to charge you..........but yet they are suppose to be psychic's RIGHT? If they are true.......They should need your DOB or names or business information, they should tell you...........whats going on. Some of other psychics are mean as hell on the phone..just plane wicket. they immediately start asking for $350 or $400 and want the money wired to Western Union. And yet they do not know what you are seeking.........they tell you vague things.............! There are good psychics out there with good engergy that will tell you the truth withou robbing your wallet. All claim they can clean your aura. But you can get your aura cleanses by getting baptized in a church or dipping your entire body in the Ocean.
